I'd love to welcome you to an intimate afternoon of flower pressing in the beautiful ‘Drawing Room’ greenhouse in The Vineries Garden Centre, Leatherhead. With just 10 places available, this relaxed workshop offers plenty of time for personal guidance and creativity.

During this hands-on workshop, I'll guide you through the traditional art of flower pressing, where you’ll learn how to select and prepare flowers, and preserve them in your own flower press. I’ll share the tips and techniques I’ve developed through years of preserving thousands of meaningful blooms, helping you achieve beautiful results at home. You’ll also create a framed A4 botanical composition using a carefully curated selection of flowers that I’ve pressed in advance.

Whether you're new to flower pressing or simply looking for a creative, mindful afternoon, you'll leave with new skills, a beautiful keepsake, and everything you need to continue pressing flowers at home.

  • Suitable for ages 16 and over.

  • Tickets are fully refundable if cancelled up to 48 hours before the workshop. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • If Lydia Florence needs to cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future date.

  • All materials and equipment are included. Due to the seasonal nature of flowers, the varieties used may differ from those shown in these photos.

  • Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the event.
